By now we are sure you've heard - The 3rd Annual Festival of Trees 2011 is coming soon! The designer tree display will be in Southlake City Hall from November 7th - December 16th and these beautiful trees will be raffled off to the public so make sure and visit to pick out your favorites! Raffle ticket prices are: 1 for $10, 6 for $50 and 13 for $100. Please see the Festival of Trees website to purchase of raffle and Tinsel Gala tickets.
 

The Tinsel Gala will take place on Friday, November 18th at the Hilton Town Square 6:30-11:30 pm. A festive evening of elegant dining and dancing to Just In Tyme. Enjoy an unique silent auction, big board, wine pull and live auction. The event culminates with the City of Southlake tree lighting in Town Square event on Saturday, November 19th. All proceeds support local charities. Gala Tickets are $125 and can be purchased throught the Greater Southlake Women's Society website.

The fun began on Saturday, June 12th at the Marriott Solana as Metroport Meals on Wheels kicked off their annual golf tournament with a dinner and auction. On Monday, golfers gathered on both courses at Trophy Club Country Club to play for a great cause. This event is one of the largest golf tournaments in our area and raises funds for volunteers to continue their mission of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors."

KellerFest 2010 was a true Hometown Celebration in Keller! Thanks to the Keller Chamber of Commerce, City of Keller, sponsors and all of the volunteers that made this year's event successful. Watch the video for highlights from the many activities over the weekend including the Bike & Trike Show, Classic Car Show, Battle of the Bands and the first annual Strut Your Mutt contest.

MMOW has been an ever-present resource for the last 30 years consisting of volunteers visiting seniors who are striving to live independently in their own homes, leaving behind hot meals, hugs, and smiles. MMOW has provided assurances for the seniors—freedom from worry about food, knowledge that there will be a personal visit every day, and for their families—that someone who cares will look in on their loved one daily. The 30th Anniversary Celebration & Tee-Off Dinner is Saturday, June 12, 2010 and the Annual Golf Tounrament is on Monday, June 14, 2010.

Annually, the largest fundraiser for Rocky Top Therapy Center is true Texas trail drive along the banks of the Trinity River following the historic Chisholm Trail in Fort Worth. This year, Larry Mahan, world champion cowboy, returned as the Honorary Trail Boss. This year's Trail Drive is dedicated to the men and women who so bravely serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. Then.....everyone kicked up their heels at the end of the day for the "Denim & Pearls" Dinner Dance at the River Ranch in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
