In 1989, I retired from Xerox Corporation as a Systems Manager, in California, my husband, daughter and I moved to Springfield Tennessee.  After settling in, I soon become a very proud mother of three children..  Being an active member in our church, I saw a need for assistance in the kitchen for Wednesday night suppers. I was hired to prepare their meals and grew the church attendance on Wednesdays from 30 to 100 members very quickly.

I also began decorating cakes for my family and soon discovered that there was also a need in the community for a Bakery.  I joined both of my talents and constructed a commercial kitchen and began Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering for all Occasions in 1990.

Just to keep things interesting and eclectic there is a great selection of vintage shabby chic occasional tables and chests and a nice sampling of antique décor. A few special items seen and noted currently include hand-woven baskets from Uganda in wonderful earthy colors and half of the proceeds go directly to scholarship funding for Ugandan children. A collection of painted books by a Houston artist, ornate wooden crosses painted and jeweled by a North Richland Hills craftsperson, a great candle line in dog and cat portrait boxes benefiting the Keller Animal Shelter, and a great selection of lamps printed shades adorned with crystals.

Owner and decorator Terrie Daughtry, store manager Tricia Blackstock, and her team of associates believe you do not have to live "large" to live well and that everyone deserves a comfortable, functional and aesthetically-pleasing home no matter the budget. Keller’s finest Northeast Style Diner has just opened! Locally owned and operated, Main St Cafe offers the community a place to have Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or to stop by and have a drink in our bar area.  Our large Dining Room is able to accommodate large and small parties promising that you will not have to wait for a table!

Offering a wide variety of Breakfast selections, families will find the menu to have something for everyone!  From a dozen different omelettes, to Skillet Breakfasts and the Breakfast Specialties, you are sure to be pleased by the time you leave.  For those that enjoy a “sweeter” breakfast, we offer Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast and Crepes.

Our Lunch and Dinner menu is filled with family favorites.  We can satisfy even the biggest appetites with a wide variety of Burgers, Sandwiches, Italian Dishes, Steaks and Seafood.   Kids are always welcome and we have all of their favorites on our Children’s Menu.  And don’t forget to ask about our “Pie of the Day” for desert!

Our Full Bar is open until midnight Sunday – Wednesday and open until 2 a.m. Thursday – Saturday.  Stop by to watch the game on our Big Screen and invite your friends and neighbors!
