Keller ISD Celebrates Its Employee Appreciation Program - Heart At Work
Two colorful cow statues line the front lawn of Keller ISD’s Maintenance & Operations Building on Keller-Hicks Road. This month, they have been painted in honor of the KISD Employee Appreciation Program, Heart at Work, where employees can be nominated by their peers with a “You’ve Got Heart” for going above and beyond the call of duty. Nomination forms are gathered from around the district and a winner is selected and recognized monthly.
Maintenance & Operations employees spend their own time painting the cows regularly to fit many special occasions. Most recently, they outfitted the cows with the colors of the Super Bowl contenders; and in the coming months, they have plans to paint the cows in honor of Easter/Spring.
