Our Great City

The Keller Early Childhood PTA is a local PTA unit which is chartered by both Texas and the National PTA. Since our children are too young for school, we are not affiliated with a particular school, but rather the local public school district. KECPTA is designed to provide friendship, education, support, and activities for families with children from birth up through school age. We are dedicated to the advocacy of all children in their homes, schools, community and place of worship.

Proper development during the early childhood years has a direct impact on a child's future ability to succeed in school and later on in his or her life. As an avenue for parental involvement, you can help your child on many levels and through many activities.

Membership is not limited to those in Keller, We encourage our members to participate in those activities that meet here specific needs and interest. Activities offered are:

Monthly meetings - PTA business, guest speakers, parent education (on-site nursery available for fee)

Playgroups - groups for similarly aged children and you

Children's activities - monthly activities at child friendly places

Mom's Night Out - Informal get-togethers without the kids

Sunshine Committee - Provides meals & cards for new moms or other special needs

Holiday Parties - Costume parties, Santa, Easter Egg Hunts... for the kids and social parties for the adults
