10th Annual Run in the Dark Benfiting Community Storehouse

The 10th Annual Run in the Dark 5K/1-mile Fun Run will be on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Keller Town Hall.

Over 1,700 participants and 2,000 spectators attended this annual fundraiser last year.

The Community Storehouse is a non-profit crisis relief agency that was established in 1982 to serve the children in our local community. The Community Storehouse helps guarantee success for children in school, by providing them with basic needs and necessities. Primarily serving Keller and Northwest Independent School districts, the Community Storehouse makes graduation possible for many students!

During a time of crisis for a family, the Community Storehouse intervenes to accommodate the needs of children. These needs include, but are not limited to: medical/dental care, eye care, prescriptions, school supplies, food, clothing, shelter, utilities, and counseling. In 2009, we are projecting to assist over 6,000 children with what they need to stay in the classroom.
