Change Your Clock - Change Your Battery!

As the time change approaches on Sunday, March 14, Keller Fire-Rescue wants to remind residents to make another change that could save their lives - changing the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

To save lives and prevent needless injuries, Keller Fire-Rescue is participating in a national home fire safety campaign called Change Your Clock-Change Your Battery. Sponsored by Energizer, our fire department, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs, the program urges Americans to adopt a lifesaving habit: change smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector batteries when clocks are changed with Daylight Saving.

For information regarding fire and life safety, call the Keller Fire-Rescue Fire Marshal's Office at (817)743-4400 or contact the department by e-mail at firerescue@cityofkeller.com.
