Keller ISD Board Meets Candidate for Interim Superintendent - Approves Three New Principals
At a Special Meeting Monday, May 21 Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees met in executive session with retired Burleson ISD Superintendent Mark Jackson and approved the hiring of three new campus principals. Trustees will vote during the regular June 7 Board meeting whether to offer a contract to Mr. Jackson to serve as KISD’s Superintendent. The administration recommended principals for Chisholm Trail Intermediate, Freedom Elementary, Whitley Road Elementary, and all were approved.

The Keller ISD Education Foundation will host their 5th Annual Golf Tournament - “PUTT”ing Education First - on Tuesday, June 5th at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club.
12:00 p.m. – Registration
1:30 p.m. – Shotgun Start

Pickled Pink Boutique in Keller is NOW Booking for their Summer Etiquette Classes on June 30th from 10am-12pm & July 28th from 10am-12pm.
Cost is $25.00 per child, boy or girl for ages 5 yrs and up.

Farewell Reception for Superintendent Dr James Veitenheimer
Keller ISD's Board of Trustees cordially invites the public to attend a Farewell Reception in honor of KISD Superintendent Dr. James Veitenheimer from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012.
Dr. Veitenheimer will be leaving Keller ISD at the end of June to take over as superintendent of Deer Valley Unified School District in Phoenix.
The Public Farewell Reception will be held in the Texas Rooms at the KISD Education Center, 350 Keller Parkway. Refreshments will be served from 4-5 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
