Keller Public Safety Fall Festival Event

Keller Police Department, in conjunction with Keller Fire-Rescue, is proud to announce the city’s third annual Keller Public Safety Fall Festival to be held October 24, 2009 from 3pm to 6pm at the Keller Lion’s Club located at 532 Keller Parkway.

The event is free and open to the public. Its purpose is to bring the community together with law enforcement and emergency services personnel who play an active role in crime fighting and public safety. Keller Police Department, Keller Fire-Rescue, the Keller Police Mounted Patrol, K-9 Patrol, Keller SWAT Team, and Keller CERT will have informative and educational exhibits at the event. In addition, members of numerous other law enforcement and public safety agencies from across North Texas will be in attendance with exhibits for the public.

North Texas Walk for PKD Event Party - "An Evening of Hope and Inspiration"

The North Texas Chapter of the PKD Foundation held its annual event party at Southlake Town Square on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Featured speakers were Dr. Ron Anderson, President and CEO of Parkland Hospital who spoke on Healthcare Reform in the United States and Ms. Valen Cover who was the inspiration for the book "My Favorite American" by Dennis McCloskey.
