National Night Out in Texas is officially on October 5, 2010. The time varies but it will usually range from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Here is the information on this program if you are not familiar with it.

Every year for National Night Out citizens will turn on their porch lights, lock their front doors and get together with neighbors in the area to show their support for local law enforcement. By banning together you demonstrate a common goal of vigilance against crime, letting criminals know you support the police in their efforts to fight crime.

If you are planning a block party, outing with other neighbors or a small get together please let us know, see attachment below (PDF) to fill out a form with specific information about your gathering and e-mail the form to Officer Scott Bradburn sbradburn@cityofkeller.com he can make preparations to have an officer or officers visit your neighborhood during your block party.

The Keller police will make every effort to swing by your neighborhood to show their appreciation for your support.
